Anna Griffin Embossing folders

Wednesday, March 4, 2015

Hello friends. Today I am sharing a few cards I created for the October HSN show using Anna Griffin's Embossing folders.

For both these cards I used the sanding technique on Anna's Perfect Palette white core cardstock.

I just the effect it leaves on the cards. Anna's designs are so beautiful and easily transform an ordinary piece of cardstock into a work of art.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Thanks a Latte

My Favorite Things

Here's this week's sketch

Here's my coffee inspired card featuring the Perk Up set.

I must admit I'd be much happier with my card if I had the Fish Tail flag STAX! That stitching looks amazing on Veronica's card. I can't tell you how much I love creating with this cute Perk Up set!

Sprinkled with fun

Monday, February 16, 2015

Hello friends. Today I am sharing my card for this week's My Favorite Things

Here's a look at this week's sketch.

I got my new release order from MFT in time to use it for this week's sketch. I could not wait to get those Donut Dies by Laina Lamb. They are so fun!

I used the donut stamps to create a background using the MFT Hybrid inks and sentiment from LLD Donuts and Sprinkle stamp set.

Next I used some Fabritac glue to adhere the felt to the cardstock and dab my sprinkles in to adhere to the felt to create my donut. Then I used 3D foam squares from Therm O Web to adhere my card.

It's always fun creating for MFT's weekly challenge. If you'd like to create with us too then check out the My Favorite Things Challenge and Inspiration blog!

Have a creative day!

Thank You

Tuesday, February 10, 2015

Hello friends. I'm getting my MFT Sketch challenge card in right under the wire today.

Here's a look at this week's sketch.

I was feeling very 80's when I created my card last night. I used a few MFT dies along with some Pearl color Origami sheers for the Sentiment and layered them with cardstock for the flower. I love the gradient background paper from MME.

Supplies: My Mind's Eye Cut & Paste Flair. Daiso Pearl Color Oragami. My Favorite Things Dies: Gerbera Daisy, Words of Gratitude. Eyelet Outlet enamel dots white.

Morning photos are the worst and does make this card shine as much as it does so when the sun comes out here I'll be taking better photos.

Have a creative day.
